The structural element of the period, the arch, inspired the designer to infuse a special breath into the new spirit of the gallery. Footprint has been evolved by introducing a number of arch-type volumes and various partitions hence creating leeway for different gallery activities, altogether forming a melodic ensemble for humans to be in. The designer started with respect to manumit arch’s in a contemporary context. The idea of the arch’s and axis-symmetry divides the space into three parts. Lobby/exhibition space in the middle, the inner meeting spaces arranged in a rectangular pattern distinct from around and white palette. The desired geometric aesthetics and the spatial arrangement of space form a dialogue between the old and the new.
