Session Information

GENERAL INFORMATION:
Please be advised that this is a very intensive graphic workshop. Normally you will spend from 12 to 14 hours per day in the studio. Therefore, you are encouraged to bring along 6 sets of undergarments (and also bring a swim suit for the session). Get plenty of rest before attending the session, and be prepared to experience great improvements in graphics and design and to obtain the confidence needed in your life.

TRANSPORTATION:
You will fly into San Francisco International Airport and call the Westin Hotel San Francisco Airport for a free shuttle bus pick up service. You may also fly into Oakland International Airport or San Jose International Airport, however, it will require additional transportation in order to arrive the host Westin Hotel. If you drive to the hotel, it will cost you discounted $6.00 per day parking fee.

ART SUPPLIES:
For your convenience, art supplies and reference texts are available within the workshop studio and you are encouraged to purchase them upon arrival. Prices are very competitive and should be lower than those in your local stores. Depending on your current supplies, you may want to budget between $50-$150 for art supplies and $50-$75 for reference books.

MISCELLANEOUS FEE
A nominal fee will be collected upon arrival for miscellaneous purposes which are not covered in the tuition, such as: coffee, tea, occasional lunch, group dinners and a banquet, pizzas, soft drinks and beers, party expenses, group art materials and T-shirts, etc. This fee allows us to purchase items at a much cheaper rate and will save us a lot of time to collect money for each item individually.

LODGING:
You have an option to stay at the Westin Hotel San Francisco Airport. The current discounted group rate is $65 for a single or double. You are responsible to make reservation directly. More hotels are available and more details will be provided upon your on line registration.

WEATHER:
The average temperature during the winter sessions are from 45-60 degrees Fahrenheit. Bring your warm clothes. It should be warm and comfortable for the summer sessions from 50-80 degree and hotel offers comfort temperature at all sessions.
