Thanks for sharing your memorable experience with other designers on the planet.  As you may know that over 98 % of our business came from referrals and your true and unbiased statement is greatly appreciated.

Repeating this workshop again after 20 years was a great experience for our whole family and took all of us to a new level. Thanks for everything, your hospitality, patience and for sharing your knowledge with all of us. This has truely changed and expanded our attitudes, our thinking our learning, our living together, our pleasure to draw..........our minds......

This was an awesome workshop.  The hours were long and info packed but thanks to Mike's and his keen ability to keep us laughing and learning the days flew by!  Mike is a unique man with the gift of being free from FEAR and full of generosity.  When I stopped thinking what if and just did my skill improved 100%.  As the class pushed on, Mike kept teaching, (and telling his extremely funny jokes with his unforgettable laugh) we kept drawing and soaking in his knowledge.  I came home with new skills, new tools and a new attitude!

This workshop is a life changing experience, no one can leave there with out a little bit of Mike Lin......something everyone could benefit from.

XO Mike, thanks again, the three amigos are all around me, Louise

Ps if I ever l overwhelmed I just tune in on your one minute u tube video, the right side of my brain kicks in and a smile lights up my face.

What a great workshop!

This was probably the best professional training that I've ever taken.  I've always wanted a refresher to what I learned in my Landscape Architecture design school program and the BeLoose Workshop did just that.

Yes, they were long days but worth the effort and it gave me the opportunity to practice my 'good attitute'; Mike's comments on life and attitude and his humor were worth the price of admission alone.

Equally rewarding was meeting so many great people from the class - from the US, my new Canadian crowd of friends, Columbia and of course Switzerland!  I new network of quality folks.  Thank you all for contributing to this great experience.

Mike 'warned' us prior to the workshop that this would "change our lives" I just didn't realize in how many ways that statement would apply!  Not only did I learn new 'tricks' to enhance my drawing skills, but I also learned new tricks to handle those inevitable life frustrations!

As one of the older members of the group I throroughly enjoyed being around so many energetic young professionals.  They are so lucky to have encountered Mike Lin early in their careers!  This workshop truly was a life changing event.

Probably the best part of this workshop is how it changes you in more ways then the obvious, you learn to draw better.  I gained so much confidence to just try things especially drawings. If the finished product isn't perfect I look at it and say, "I like it!" or "I am not done yet!" and keep moving.

For learning the technical aspects of drawing and creating renderings for clients, I cannot say enough good about this workshop.  Mike has the ability to teach art and drawing so it makes sense.  Being home now I am amazed at how much better my quick renderings look now versus renderings I did before the workshop which took me 3 to 5 times longer to do.  I also frequently sketch when I am doing design concepts or when I am thinking about spaces, which before I would have been too critical or tight to do.

Finally as far as the atmosphere of the workshop, I don't think I have been to anything, especially something for professional development, which has had a better group of people to learn from and with, meaning Mike, the TAs, and all the attendees.  Mike thanks for this workshop and the great lessons and skills you teach so well!

This workshop was, for lack of a better word, amazing! This is the second workshop I attended, as the two-day just isn't enough time to nail down some of Mike's more complex concepts (perspective drawings and rendering). I loved both workshops, especially getting the opportunity to get to know Mike and really observe him and fellow professionals in the 9-day workshop.

The days are long, but well worth it; if this is what you are interested in improving on and practicing then the "mini-bootcamp" is necessary. I am confident that by following Mike's techniques and philosophical mantras I will be able to carve my own niche at my company and perhaps my region. Though urban planning is a primarily data-driven and conceptual field, I plan on taking my company down a more illustrative and graphic path with the tools Mike has given me. If you want to bring more graphics into your life and see potential in your career to absorb these skills, GO FOR IT. Don't hesitate. Mike will help you round-out your vision and give you all the tools you need to pull your own; he also volunteers help in the future, as he said "your tuition doesn't just give you help for 9-days, but a lifetime of guidance." Thanks Mike for all you did for us and for helping me to see my future more clearly, and for the first time without fear. The amigos and I are ready to WOW you! I hope everyone can benefit from knowing Mike as a teacher, a mentor, and a friend. Xi xi, Mike!

Before I took the course I was thinking 9 days is a long time to be in a workshop. At the end of the workshop I was thinking "I'm not done yet". I was amazed at how much my skills improved in just the first day and with the improvement came confidence. Mike is an incredible instructor, I hope to return for a tune up.

The outstanding BeLoose workshop in Henderson this Summer 2013 was such a wonderfully unsuspecting gift (Mike Lin's unique teaching techniques combined with the special camaraderie in the classroom with people from many different paths) that I offered to come back as a TA this winter to experience the learning and meeting great people once again.

I learned, amongst many other things, that what applies to creating efficient renderings to facilitate project development also applies to other facets of life, whether personal or business, as Mike infuses into us daily in his original way.

So this workshop left me again very energized, with increased confidence & a renewed sense of humour that are quite helpful in my day job projects working on legal, mediation and government relations activities.

Thank you Mike, my fellow TAs and everyone in the class for the laughs, for helping me "see" much better this incredible life around us, and to reconnect with the amazing potential in the right brain!!
