Vegas Workshop

Hi Mike

Hope all is well, I know you probably are trying to relax after the workshop but I did want to thank you for the experience. The generosity with your skill and time are very rare, it's obvious that you truly care about teaching people. I hope that you are still offering classes when my daughter is old enough to attend so she can experience your class first hand rather than my rendition.

Most people I know going through universities, myself included, are programmed to think the same way and propose the same idea over and over again. You certainty could have taken the same old vision for teaching graphics ( it certainly would have been easier and more profitable) but you developed an original idea and style that gives the student the skills to excel.

The experience reminded me of a quote from Jack Kerouac

"Colleges being nothing but grooming schools for the non-identity which usually finds its perfect expression with everybody looking at the same thing and thinking the same thing at the same time"
