BeLoose Graphic Workshop

What a wonderful experience! Went in not expecting anything, came out with a whole new perspective on drawing and life (thanks to Mikes free life lessons!).

As a modern day Landscape Architect, computer graphics are my main medium of visual communication, and I think this is partly because we pressure ourselves too much on creating the 'perfect' image of our plans. We are too hard on ourselves to produce the 'artistic representation'.

Mike Lins lessons in the difference in being an 'artist' and doing 'architectural graphics' opened a whole new confidence and avenue that I had never explored. His easy to understand deconstruction of the elements within his drawings, disect the whole so that it can be seen in parts and thus easier to recreate.

I throughly enjoyed this workshop and encourage anyone who attended to share your experiences and what you got out of it. I love that I feel like I can draw now (even if you don't think I can) and know that it doesn't have to be perfect because "I'm not finished yet..."! (as Mike would say)

And you know what, I don't have to ever finish it, I just have to START it.

Thanks Mike, it was a pleasure to meet you and to become a part of the BeLoose community.

I am so touched when I saw your feedback.
What a wonder way to say what I try
to teach in my workshop. Only need to just
start it and expect not to be prefact by the
end. Wow, thanks.

The workshop with Mike Lin stands as one of my most valuable practical learning experiences.

Mike Lin understands the human vulnerability that surrounds human creativity.  With humour and laughter Mike calmly opens each persons spirit, which then opens the passion for drawing and loving the end results.    Mike holds a teaching talent, sure., not just with drawing but Mike also holds many fundamental principles for living a rich and full life.   The Brisbane Workshop was brilliant.
